The APT Diploma in working with Children and Adolescents provides 120 hours of focused training and is fully accredited by APT. We bring the training to your own organisation, for maximum cost-effectiveness, and up to 15 people can attend.
The APT Diploma in working with Children and Adolescents provides 120 hours of training over 12 months. We bring all the modules to you for a fixed fee, to ensure you get a supportive group addressing the same material.
The diploma comprises 20 days of training made up from your 8 chosen modules/courses below. You can select four 3-day modules and four 2-day modules. The whole group attends the same modules.
After every module students are expected to sit an online exam. To be awarded the diploma, students must attend at least 7 of the live taught modules, pass at least 7 of the online exams.
You will be registered as having attended the course, thereby gaining APT's Diploma for Working with Children and Adolescents, and receive a certificate to this effect and accreditation which gains you access to the resources associated with the course.
Your registration lasts indefinitely, and your accreditation to use the resources lasts for 3 years and is renewable by attending a Masterclass top-up day or submitting evidence of continued practice, and your reflections on that practice (to the required level).
Your accreditation is given value by the fact of over 100,000 people having attended APT training. See APT accreditation for full details.
Option 1: Bring the course to your organisation:
We bring the training to your own organisation for a fixed, all-inclusive fee of £30,490 plus VAT and up to 15 people can attend.

Option 2: Live webinar:
This course can be provided as a live webinar for groups. A webinar typically takes slightly less time than the live course on which it is based (because of less group discussion and group exercises) but they are live and pleasingly interactive.
Delegates can be anywhere that is conducive to concentrating, all together or separate, so long as they have access to a computer with a good internet connection.
Webinars from the APT are the only ones that automatically include registration and certification, APT-accreditation and access to any post-course resources.
Option 3: 'Train the Trainer':
If you or a colleague are a senior professional (e.g. consultant psychologist) and have a talent for communication and teaching, then you are welcome to apply to become an APT-accredited tutor. You could then tutor the course - or your chosen modules from it - in your own organisation, under license.
This is not only a highly appropriate use of senior professionals, but it also saves your organisation the tutor-component of the fee (around 50%) each time you run it or your chosen modules.
