Prices and pricing policy.
Pricing policy:
There are two principles to our pricing policy.
The first is that we strive to keep our prices as low as possible commensurate with delivering excellence. We are aware that there are others who are charging a lot more for delivering a lot less, and we don't want to go along that path.
The second principle is that nobody ever pays anything other than our published prices so you never have to wonder whether anybody else is paying less than you. Many of our customers buy substantial numbers of courses, and our prices are geared towards that.
Prices are reviewed at the end of each year and any changes in prices take effect at the beginning of January each year.
Prices for live Face-to-Face training where the tutor travels to your organisation:
4-day courses: £9,870 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
3-day courses: £7,400 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
2-day courses: £5,330 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
1-day courses: £2,800 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
Half-day course: £2,180 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
Two half-day courses in one day (on the same day and at the same location): £2,940 plus VAT for groups of up to 15.
Extra delegates: £165 plus VAT per person per day.
90 hour Diploma courses: £37,000 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
Prices include travel and accommodation for the tutor, full course workbooks, registration, certification, APT-Accreditation, and post-course access to APT’s downloadable resources for attendees to use with their clients where appropriate.
You provide a good teaching room and any refreshments (coffee and tea, lunches if you want them) and of course the course attendees.
Prices for Live courses delivered by Zoom or Teams exclusively for your organisation
Whatever size of group (max 30) you only pay for those who complete (minimum 15).
Prices for the APT’s Online Live and Exclusive Courses:
- 4-day courses: £6,580 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
- 3-day courses: £4,930 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
- 2-day courses: £3,560 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
- 1-day courses: £2,040 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
- Half-day courses: £1,090 plus VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
- Extra delegates: £110 plus VAT per person per day or part of day.
Workbooks for every delegate are included in these prices. (If you require workbooks being sent to more than one location, there is an extra charge of £10 per extra address.)
Delegates can be anywhere that is conducive to concentrating, all together or separate, so long as they have access to a computer with a good internet connection.
Live Online Courses, Open to all mental health professionals:
4-day courses: £670 + VAT per person.
3-day courses: £495 + VAT per person.
2-day courses: £340 + VAT per person.
1-day courses: £195 + VAT per person.
Half-day courses: £120 + VAT per person.
MoodMaster Training: £1,000 per person.
Prices include course hardcopy workbooks (PDFs to those outside the UK), registration, certification and APT-Accreditation where appropriate.

Price guarantee for group bookings: only pay for courses your team members complete (minimum 15).
Submitting evidence of having undertaken formally supervised practice (Level 3 Accreditation):
Submit evidence of having undertaken formally supervised practice of the relevant topic for at least 6 months since attending a Level 2 APT Accredited course (or equivalent). There is a reading fee of £260 plus VAT, regardless of whether your submission is successful.
Verification of equivalence:
You can submit evidence of previous training to claim equivalence to an APT course. For example, if you have had training you believe to be equivalent to APT’s DBT Essentials, you can submit what you believe to be evidence of this (e.g. certificates). The reading fee is £120 plus VAT, regardless of whether your submission is successful. This also includes the option to sit an online exam to uprate your accreditation if applicable. (Note, the training must have been completed within the last 3 years.)
Refresher training:
The online DICES® refresher: £70 + VAT per person.
Other online refresher courses: £120 + VAT per person.
Refreshing / renewing accreditation by submitting evidence of practice: £120 + VAT per person.
1-day live refresher course: £2,800 + VAT for a group of up to 15 people.
Refresher courses are available only to those who have attended the corresponding live or online APT course. All online refresher courses include the online exam in the subject, successful completion of which upgrades your APT accreditation to the next level.
Supervision:
Whole day: £2,800 + VAT.
A supervision day consists of two group-supervision sessions each lasting a maximum of 2 hours, with up to eight members in each supervision group.
We can only provide supervision in certain subjects in certain parts of the country.
Application to become a Centre of Excellence:
Fee: £1,720 + VAT.
Available for RAID and DBT. The fee covers reading your application, the visit by supportive inspector, and subsequent report. The fee is payable regardless of the result of the application.
Application for specialist award:
Reading fee: Free of charge.
Marking of work-based projects:
Marking fee: £285 + VAT.
The fee covers the reading of the project, the giving of written feedback, and the upgrading of your APT accreditation level for successful pieces of work. The fee is payable regardless of the result. Unsuccessful projects can be resubmitted a maximum of twice, for no extra charge.
Exclusive Courses.
The majority of our courses are provided this way - we deliver the training exclusively for your team (live online or face-to-face) or an all-inclusive fee.
Open Courses.
The majority of our training is provided 'exclusively' for whole teams but for a lot of our courses, you can also attend 'online live' (via Zoom) as an individual or small group.
Online Anytime Courses.
Obtain APT-quality input at a time that is convenient to you and minimises the need for 'cover' normally associated with training.
