Come to hear about implementing inspiring ideas and team development including tailoring approaches to the individual needs of the service user group! With plenty of opportunity for questions.
It will be chaired by Amy George, Deputy Director of the APT and there will be 12 finalists presenting their submissions in the following categories:
1. The APT-RAID® Award for Excellence in Working with Challenging Behaviour. (6)
Judging by: Dr William Davies, consultant psychologist and author of The RAID Course.
2. The APT Award for Excellence in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. (4)
Judging by: Dr Martin Horler, consultant psychologist and acknowledged authority on DBT.
3. The APT Award for Fostering Good Mental Health in the Workplace. (2)
Judging by: Dr Sophie Davies, consultant psychiatrist and author of the APT’s pledge on mental health and wellbeing at work.
The programme is as follows:
• Refreshments from 10am
• Start at 10.30am
• Lunch at 12.30pm
• Awards to the winners at 2.30pm
• Finish at 3pm
The venue is College Court Conference Centre, Knighton Road, Leicester, LE2 3UF (about an hour by train from London, Birmingham and Sheffield). We anticipate an interesting mini-conference with each paper having something interesting or relevant to say.
Cost of tickets is £75 plus VAT per person, which includes refreshments and lunch.
